We’re making it even easier to manage your group–no matter when everyone arrives.🎉

Introducing the new Group Management tab in the app, where you can:

📲 Share Your Group with a QR Code: Your group now has its own QR code, ready to be shared straight from the app. Just show it to anyone you need to add to your group, and they’re in.
📸 Join Instantly: Scan your friend’s QR code, and your Compass will link to their group instantly. No need to round up the whole crew to add another person.
✅ Make It Easy for the Late Ones: Now, even if someone rolls in after the festival gates open, they can join the group in seconds (we all have that one friend…).

This means less time setting up and more time vibing, exploring, and enjoying the moment! 🎶

Revamped Pairing Process 🔗

Reliable Pairing: The Compass-to-Compass pairing now works every time—even for large groups.
New UI Enhancements:
- A progress indicator around the compass perimeter shows how much time remains for discovery.
- As they pair, your Crowd Compass displays the number of other Compasses discovered, helping you confirm everyone is connected.

Clearer Messaging & Interface 💡

The device will now display "HI" during boot, so you know it’s powering up.
The device will also display the LOW BATTERY during boot if the batteries are low.
Added "ZOOM OUT" prompt alongside the scanning animation when your Compass knows the location of your friends, but you need to zoom out to see them.
Updated text:
- "NO FRIENDS FOUND" → "NO FRIENDS WITH POSITION IN RANGE" (you may be able to message your friends, but they do not have GPS yet).

"CONTACTING OUTER SPACE" → "SEARCHING FOR GPS SIGNAL" for a more intuitive experience.

Smarter Firmware Updates 🔄

A new prompt will notify you when a firmware update is available and take you directly to the update section.
No more manual checking! The update section will display if a new version is available and list all changes. Just click "Start update," and a progress bar will guide you through the process.

LTE Performance Boost Bug Fix 🌐

If your phone goes in and out of LTE connection, the LTE boost will automatically reconnect to your Crowd Compass.

Previously, if your phone lost and regained LTE connection, the app required a restart to give your Compass that LTE boost again. This is now automatic.
Reminder: You don't need LTE for your Compass to work, but we highly encourage you to turn this feature on for increased performance!
